Google Calendar (GCal)

Google Calendar (GCal)  is a web-based calendaring tool with a surprisingly powerful feature set. Easy to use and accessible from any computer, GCal at RISD can be used for scheduling meetings, tracking tasks, checking the availability of your coworkers for meetings and other common functions.

To get started with Google Calendar at RISD, you can access the application at http://calendar.risd.edu and enter your username and password to start the application. Help is available from the link in the upper right and from there you can access the Help Center itself or watch a series of video overviews describing the basic features and functionality of Google Calendar.

Want to share your calendar or allow another RISD user to manage it? See our Calendar Sharing page for more information.
